The new KastKing ReKon conventional reel for trolling or bottom fishing is available in size 10, 20, and 30. The size 10 is perfect for species such as Kokanee, Walleye and Trout fishing but performs equally on much larger fish. It features a high line capacity of over 250 yards of 20 lb. mono or 10 colors of Micro Leadcore line, and delivers a maximum of 25 lbs of smooth drag through its carbon drag system. The size 10 has a very comfortable double paddle handle with EVA knobs.

The size 20 and size 30 Rekon have even more line capacity and drag power for big water, big fish or deep presentations with heavy weight, flashers or lots of leadcore line. The ReKon 20 and 30 will hold over 320 yards of 25 lb. mono or braid equivalent. They have a maximum of 30 lbs of drag through their series of carbon drag washers. For big water, big fish applications, KastKing installed a single Power Handle with a large round EVA knob that delivers serious torque and comfort when fighting big fish.

The KastKing ReKon baitcasting reels are designed for tough trolling conditions and use the best components. For smooth and trouble-free operation, KastKing uses 3 double shielded, stainless-steel ball bearings in high stress points plus the Instant anti-reverse bearing. The main gears and worm shafts are made of precision machined brass, while the pinion gear and line guide shaft are high quality stainless-steel.

The ReKon Line Counter round casting reels use a smooth, carbon disc drag that delivers 30 lbs of fish stopping power (25lb for size 10). Both size reels have a line clicker function that makes releasing planer boards simple and easy, which can also be used as a strike detection system while trolling. Gear ratios are 5.1:1 on the size 10, 5.3:1 on the size 20 and 4.5:1 on the size 30.

KastKing designed the handles to be different on the two models for a reason. The size 10 ReKon is mostly for Kokanee, Walleye and Trout, so KastKing included a comfortable, double paddle handle with EVA grips. The larger size 20 and 30 reels have a single Power Handle with a comfortable round knob that gives more leverage for larger fish and longer retrieves.
